The Nowra Anglican College Scholarship program aims to encourage and recognise students in their pursuit of excellence. The Scholarship Program at Nowra Anglican College provides students with financial support to further their education as well as reward achievement and effort.
Students who receive scholarships will display exemplary character and uphold the College’s vision, mission and values. They will also exhibit qualities such as integrity, leadership, initiative, compassion for others and personal responsibility.
Each year a number of scholarships are granted for partial remission of tuition fees (typically 25% or 50%) for students entering Years 5, 7, 9 or 11 and are determined in the year preceding entry to these grades.
Scholarships are usually awarded for the remainder of the recipient’s schooling, conditional on the student’s continued satisfactory progress (subject to annual review), contribution to the full life of the College community and ongoing support for the ethos of the College.
The College offers a number of Academic Scholarships each year (at a range of discount levels: typically 25% to 50%) to students entering Years 5, Year 7, Year 9 and Year 11. Academic Scholarships are open to students presently enrolled at the College and to students wishing to enter Nowra Anglican College from 2022.
The College expects all Academic Scholarship holders to display a high standard of achievement. The School trusts that the privilege of receiving a scholarship will build responsible attitudes develop leadership potential and enable students to take a positive role in College life.
Scholarships are awarded dependent on the results of the ACER Scholarship examination and possibly an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning.

Nowra Anglican College offers Junior School Academic Scholarships (at a range of percentages: 25% to 50%) to students wishing to attend Year 5 in 2022. Scholarships are awarded dependent on the results of the ACER Scholarship examination, submission of a portfolio of achievement and possibly an interview with the candidate and their parent/s or carer/s.
Scholarship applicants are also required to apply for enrolment to the College prior to sitting for the ACER examination (if not current students).

NAC Scholarships – General Excellence (145 KB)
The College offers General Excellence scholarships (at a range of percentages: 25% to 50%) to students wishing to attend Year 7 in 2022. Scholarships are awarded to candidates who have achieved and participate highly in a range of areas such as academic, sporting, music, leadership, Christian participation, debating, dance, drama or public speaking. General Excellence Scholarship recipients are asked to demonstrate their willingness to contribute fully to the life of the College.
Scholarships are awarded dependent on the results of the ACER Scholarship examination, submission of a portfolio including a cover letter demonstrating a commitment to contribute fully to the life of the College and possibly an interview with the Principal or Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning.

NAC Scholarships – Performing Arts (158 KB)
Nowra Anglican College offers highly sought-after Performing Arts Scholarships (at a range of percentages: 25% to 50%) through a competitive application and live audition process. These Scholarships recognise potential and provide students the opportunity to develop their gifts and talents.

Students and non-students of Nowra Anglican College are encouraged to apply for this excellent opportunity to grow as a performer.
Auditions will be held for students who have already received a high pass in AMEB examinations or equivalent. It is expected that a student in Year 7 would be working at a Grade IV AMEB standard in their chosen instrument.
Applications from pianists will not be accepted unless they play a second instrument.
Performing Arts Scholarships are open to students presently enrolled at the College and to students wishing to enter Nowra Anglican College in Years 7–12 in 2022. Scholarships are subject to an application process and shortlisted candidates are invited to interview and audition with the Principal, Head of Creative and Performing Arts and their nominated panel members.

Nowra Anglican College offers scholarships (at a range of percentages: 25% to 50%) to Indigenous students enrolled or wishing to join the current College community for Year 5, 2022 who would benefit from attending the College. Scholarships are awarded dependent on the submission of a portfolio, demonstration of aboriginality and an interview with the candidate and their parent/s or carer/s. Scholarship candidates are required to complete the Indigenous Scholarship Application and submit a portfolio.
